Our Vladimír Bartovic commented for ČRo Plus on the topic of the Saturday attack on Syria and its impacts on foreign policy of the Czech Republic. 

An unclear direction of the Czech foreign policy is not a phenomenon arising from recent events in Syria, as one can observe from varied reactions to the expulsion of Russian diplomats as a result of the Skripal case. 

The initial statement supporting the offensive means that any further comments will be taken as an internal discussion rahter than potential critique. 

The conflict in Syria lasted for seven years. It is why diplomatic solutions seem exhausted. However the Czech Republic can function an a communication channel between Damask and the West.
