STOP to Social Exclusion

Project Manager: Zuzana Kasáková

Timeframe: completed (2007)

Executive Summary:

The project aimed to introduce the topic of social inclusion to the public, to the non-profit sector, and to the representatives of municipalities and regions. New, interesting and original projects presented served as examples of innovative solutions to the problems of socially excluded, e.g. the long-term unemployed, handicapped, or elderly. Attention was also paid to the new law on social services, to the structural funds abstraction in 2007-13, and to the effective set-up of the system of abstraction; particularly for the social services providers. Among the key project topics was the application of the social economics concept in the conditions of the Czech republic.
