July 7 - July 19, 2012 - Prague, Czech Republic
Program costs
The programme fee is 950 EUR / 1,200 USD.
This fee will cover:
- Tuition
- Reading materials
- Travel pass for public transport in Prague
- Housing and two meals a day (breakfast and lunch)
- Fieldtrips as well as cultural activities and special events
The low cost of the School is made possible thanks to the generous sponsors of the ESS 2012: EUROPEUM Institute for European Policy, Charles University and New York University in Prague.
Students will have to provide their own travel costs, dinners and other personal expenses (pocket money). For more information about eating out in Prague, have a look at the Housing/Meals section of this website.
Scholarships and financial aid
Please note that EUROPEUM Institute for European Policy is unfortunately not able to provide students with a scholarship. Students are encouraged to explore funding opportunities available through non-governmental organisations and governmental sources to assist their payment of fees and travel expenses, such as the Soros Foundation, Heinrich-Boell-Stiftung, Fridrich Ebert Stiftung, U.S. Embassies or their country's embassy in the Czech Republic. Local businesses, corporations and employers are often a source for additional scholarship help. We are happy to provide a letter of support for you.
Cancellation policy
In case you are accepted and pay the fee, but find out that you cannot participate in the summer school for any reason, we will refund 90 per cent of the tuition at any moment until June 23, 2012. The rest of the sum will be used on transfer fees, labour costs, and cancellation fees of our partners. If you want to cancel your participation after June 23, 2012, we cannot reimburse you the paid tuition fee.
