Reading materials

General reading

All courses require a basic knowledge on EU affairs. Those students who have never dealt with EU topics before (or those who did but forgot everything) are supposed to study the composition and functioning of EU institutions, the decision-making procedures of the EU and the distribution of competencies between the Member States and the EU beforehand. You can also obtain the following publications from Commission representations and delegations.
Your Guide to the Lisbon Treaty, European Commission, revised 2010 link
Pascal Fontaine: Europe in 12 lessons, Luxembourg, European Commission 2010 link

All other specific reading materials can be found on this section later. Selected participants will be informed on time.
