Internships
EUROPEUM Institute for European Policy offers internships for three to six months in duration to highly motivated and qualified individuals to assist the institute with the implementation of its mission.
The applicants for internship should have completed a degree in European studies or related areas (economics, law, international relations) or pursue courses leading to such a degree. They should have a thorough understanding of EU processes, institutions and major policies, and focus particularly on one or more of the areas in which EUROPEUM undertakes research and projects. The applicants should be fluent in English. The working knowledge of Czech and/or other major European languages (French, German, Spanish) is an advantage. They are also expected to have very good communication and organisation skills and standard PC skills.
The internship positions in EUROPEUM are unpaid. The applicants are supposed to cover their costs of living from scholarships or other sources. An ad hoc remuneration can be provided depending on ongoing project funding but is not guaranteed.
In order to apply for the internship position, applicants are requested to forward a standard CV in English and a short motivation letter to europeum@europeum.org or by mail to the institute´s address: EUROPEUM Institute for European Policy, Rytířská 31, Praha 1, CZ-11000, Czech Republic and mark it as “application for internship” . The application should also indicate the intended duration of internship (minimum three and maximum six months).
The applications for internships are accepted on a rolling basis.
The deadline for the next round of applications is 15 May 2010.
The successful applicants will be notified by the end of May 2010 and are expected to join EUROPEUM from September 2010.
