Our Vladimir Bartovic commented the development of the departure of Great Britain from the European Union for the Slovak daily Pravda.sk. The UK wants to speed up the whole process, but the EU is making it clear that there are a few things that must be resolved first. The divorce between the EU and Britain has to deal with the rights of EU citizens in the UK after the breach, financial compensations and the future border regime between Ireland and Northern Ireland. The situation was the subject of discussion among all EU leaders. One of them was the Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico, who claims that there is no agreement between states, especially about money.
