Veronika Rajmanová

Communications Manager

Veronika Rajmanová has been part of the EUROPEUM Institute team since January 2025. Before she worked as a journalist, primarily focusing on foreign but also Czech politics. Over the years, she has worked in the news department of Czech Television, as an editor for Czech Radio's Radio Wave, and as an editor at Czech Radio PLUS. She was the managing editor of Literární noviny, and a reporter for Týdeník Euro. She also filmed reports for Aktuálně.cz and EurActiv. She spent seven years in Brussels, working at a regional representation office and in the European Parliament. After returning to the Czech Republic, she became actively involved in education-related projects, collaborating with Charles University on her own project "Zažít Evropu" (Experience Europe), and also focusing on corporate education in the areas of EU legislation transposition, sustainability, and communication.

Veronika studied International Relations at the Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University, History at the Faculty of Arts, Charles University, and International Relations and European Studies at the Metropolitan University Prague (MUP). She did not complete her PhD under Professor Moldan at the Center for Environmental Issues at Charles University due to the birth of her daughter. She speaks English, French, German, and with some effort, also Italian and Russian. She has two children and strives to balance work with family life. She enjoys traveling, reading, and theater. She loves good coffee and believes that nature is the best therapy.
