The 16th annual European Summer School took place in July 2018 in Prague and we were happy to welcome students from 15 different countries. This year’s academic program was focused on exploring possible scenarios of the EU’s future developments.

The project is implemented in cooperation with Internews Ukraine and supported by the Program of Transformation Cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic.

As part of the project 1918 CEE Identity, Gábor Egry has written an essay that relates to the approaching hundred year anniversary of the collapse of the Central and Eastern European empires, and author analyzes, among other things, the common historical heritage of these newly created states.
