TN.cz | European Commission presents a plan to kick-start the European economy

The European Commission has presented a competitiveness compass to guide the work of the European Commission in this mandate. It is simply a blueprint for how to reduce Europe's decline in the global market. For TN.cz commented project coordinator and analyst at EUROPEUM Institute Filip Křenek.

In many ways, the word competitiveness was bandied about last year. It was talked about by politicians, by companies, by business representatives, because Europe seems to have fallen behind its biggest economic rivals, which are the United States and China, over the last two decades. The proposal that has been put forward today represents the direction that Europe should take in order to return to the imaginary front where the US or China are.
