ČRo | Russian President Vladimir Putin has proposed that peace talks between Kiev and Moscow to be held on Thursday in Istanbul, Turkey

The coalition of the willing met on Saturday 10 May in Kiev. What are the parameters of the ceasefire they proposed?

The ceasefire proposal is for thirty days, it is an unconditional ceasefire. European leaders have agreed, with US support, that if Russia does not agree to this ceasefire, there will be further sanctions. Another important outcome of the meeting of the coalition of the willing, in my view, is the support of the United States for European negotiations with Ukraine. The Trump administration agrees and confirms that it will participate in the sanctions. Zuzana Krulichová, an analyst at the EUROPEUM Institute, comments on ČRo Plus.
