The 5 percent target for defence spending was already on the table before the summit, and it is expected to remain in place. The difference lies in the anticipated breakdown: 3.5 percent of that total is expected to go toward direct military expenditures, while the remaining 1.5 percent would be allocated to so-called complementary spending — for example, strengthening infrastructure, cybersecurity, and other related areas.

As for Ukraine’s membership in NATO, it is of course not currently on the table, but no one is directly ruling it out for the future. What is most important now is the need to continue cooperating with and supporting Ukraine, as Ukraine is also defending us from Russian aggression.
