ČRo Dvojka | Viktor Daněk: We are only fulfilling partial points of Draghi's report. Without radical changes, the EU will not withstand the global world

Europe has a huge problem because it is losing competitiveness. The gap between it and the United States, the world's strongest economy, is widening. And the main reason is demographic change.
The generations entering adulthood are smaller than those retiring. And the difference is so significant that by 2050, the European labor market will be losing one million workers every year.

Yet, at the same time, we are blocking a unified capital market, which would help skilled Czech companies more easily find investors to support their growth into other EU countries.
