Our Associate Research Fellow Katarína Svitková wrote another article in the new EUROPEUM publication series: 2021–2027 Horizon Europe. In her policy brief, Katarína focuses on the revival of the cultural industry after the pandemic.

In her policy paper, our research assistant Rose Hartwig-Peillon addresses the issue of granting citizenship and residency. Hartwig-Peillon calls for a major redesign of the existing programs and for an EU-wide debate on the schemes at the occasion of the Conference on the Future of Europe.

Our institute is a guarantee of the National Convention on EU Affairs on the topic of Strategic autonomy of the European Union, which will take place online on Friday 21 May.

Our Associate Research Fellow Katarína Svitková has written the second article of the new publication series EUROPEUM: 2021–2027 Horizon Europe. In her policy brief, Katarína presents the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) as one of the main components of the Horizon Europe Innovation Pillar and describes its program and objectives.

Christian Kvorning Lassen from the Institute for European Policy EUROPEUM together with Jan Kovář from the Institute of International Relations wrote a comment "Disastrous pandemic management puts the Czech Republic at a critical democratic juncture" for the EPIN Report on the impact of the COVID pandemic on EU democracies.

In a policy brief Katarína summarises the objectives of Horizon 2021-2027 and introduces the "Innovation” pillar of the European Union funding scheme for the following years.
