European Thursday in the Scout Institute with Pavlína Žáková

Pavlína is the Deputy Minister for European Affairs. She studied economics and international relations. She has many years of experience in European affairs, both in the Czech government and in the European Commission. She worked for the European Commission for a long time (2005–2022), including eight years as an economic advisor at the European Commission Representation in the Czech Republic. Her expertise mainly covers EU economic policies, the EU budget, and the issue of adopting the euro.
Hot Take and discussion: Iceland will probably adopt the euro before Czechia!
If you are interested in Europe and our place in it, come and network with those who "make" Europe.
European Thursdays serve as a space for discussion and networking. We look forward to seeing you there every month.
The event is freely accessible from the ground floor of SI, and you can find us in the courtyard on 30 October from 5 p.m.
The program is organized by the EUROPEUM Institute for European Policy, an independent think tank focused on European integration.
