JustGreen Climate Forum | Engaging households and citizens in a just transformation

Join us for the JustGreen Climate Forum, taking place on May 27, 2025, at the Scout Institute in Prague. Come and discuss how households and citizens can contribute to a just climate transformation. The event features three thematic blocks focused on the labor market, transport, and housing-including energy poverty. The forum offers space for sharing opinions, experiences, and concrete suggestions on how to build a more sustainable future together. Take part in an open dialogue with experts and other participants, and discover what steps we can take collectively!
27. May 2025

The JustGreen Climate Forum will be opened by Rebeka Hengalová from the EUROPEUM Institute, who will introduce the JustGreen project.

This will be followed by the first discussion block focused on the labor market and just transition, led by Monika Martišková from CELSI. This session will address the impacts of climate policies on employment, job security, and the need for reskilling, while also giving space to the opinions and concerns of citizens gathered through surveys and focus groups.

The second discussion block will focus on transport and accessibility. Participants will be presented with public opinion findings on the use of public transport, dependence on cars, and differences between urban and rural areas. Speakers for this session will be announced soon!

The third block will be dedicated to housing and energy poverty, featuring Veronika Dombrovská from the organization Re-set. The discussion will center on energy-efficient renovations, their affordability, administrative challenges, and the motivation of households to save energy.
