Brdy as a Battlefield: High School Students on a Mission in the Fictional Dorménie

The contestants endured a physically and mentally demanding program over five days, ranging from overcoming water and terrain obstacles, through crisis negotiation simulations, to tests of endurance and teamwork. Among the most challenging disciplines were negotiating with a native tribe, rescuing and treating a wounded person from a vehicle damaged by an explosive device, rowing a boat, and climbing a rock massif.
The thirty-kilometer march was particularly tough for the contestants. During it, the students had to apply all their skills and withstand conditions of maximum physical and mental stress.
Throughout the competition, students had to operate under conditions of uncertainty, sleep deprivation, and minimal comfort. According to the organizers, this aspect gives the competition its uniqueness and appeal. "I think they won't experience this anywhere else, and it's no coincidence that we use the hashtag #tomusiszazit. The most important thing is how the discomfort helps the students grow," said Martin Vokálek from Europeum.
