Our Martin Michelot commented on the situation of increasing populism in the east, particularly in Hungary and Poland, and what it means for Brussels to face such developments. 

With the deterioriation of rule of law in Hungary and Poland, the EU is facing a new and unimaginable situation, since the foundation of European governance are undermined from within.
