We are inevitably heading towards further debt, but I fear that in the short term this is the only way. If we look at the state budget, there are some plans to increase it in the future, but in the current period the government has not been able to find any additional funds, which is why we are now talking about European debt.

The Americans have a large trade surplus with Europe in services, digital services in particular. These are mainly the big tech giants, who pay a minimum tax in Ireland, for example, and if the European Commission decided to intervene in this sector, it would hit the United States hard without having any unpleasant economic impact here in Europe.
