ČRo Plus: US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo visits Central Europe

Our director Vladimír Bartovic commented on the visit of the US Secretary Pompeo in the V4 countries. The Central European tour is seen as way to strengthen the transatlantic ties with the countries in Central Europe and to counter-balance the Chinese and Russian inluence in the region. Mike Pompeo will visit Hungary, Slovakia and Poland. Possible reason for omitting Czech Republic might be the fact, that Czech Foreign Minister Tomáš Petříček will visit USA and meet Pompeo in the near future.
