EURACTIV | Decarbo Brief: The Commission Reviewed the Czech Climate Plan

The EUROPEUM Institute, together with the organization Change for the Better, organized a seminar where Czech businesses had a unique opportunity to formulate a common position on the implementation of the Net-Zero Industry Act (NZIA) and to discuss its impact on the Czech industrial sector.

Based on the discussions so far, it appears that the Czech Republic will fulfill its obligations under European law and implement them in practice, which will be the end of any further effort. Representatives of the Czech sustainable business sector pointed this out during a May event. They spoke openly about what the Czech Republic lacks: a clear legal framework, faster processes, and clear priorities.
