Roberta Metsola, President of the European Parliament, visited the Czech Republic. Martin Vokálek, Executive Director of the EUROPEUM Institute, analysed her visit for TN.cz. What does her series of visits to countries of the European Union mean and can it affect participation in the upcoming elections?

"Roberta Metsola is quite unique in that she is not at the end of her career. She is some 45 years old, so she is, let's say, in the middle of her career. At the same time, she knows that it is the small countires that need to be heard in the European Union as well as the EU needs to be heard about in these countries."
