The summit succeeded in finding common ground between the United Kingdom and the EU. As part of the declaration adopted after the summit, the UK and the EU are indeed moving closer together, and there are a number of areas and activities they want to pursue jointly. This is a positive step forward, especially at a time when Europe as a whole is facing numerous challenges.

Domestic concessions were mostly made on the side of the United Kingdom, especially in the area of fishing, where the conditions have significantly changed in favor of the European Union.
