Charter Lab

The digital transformation of the labour market poses significant challenges to existing legal protection systems. New forms of (self)employment are created that fall outside the scope of existing labour and social rights, the way algorithms function is often not transparent and highly digitised work often goes hand in hand with worker isolation.

This project aims to address these challenges by promoting and raising awareness of fundamental rights in the context of digital transformation and work and by supporting the use and awareness of the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights. The goal of this project is to lay the basis for the future application of the Charter in the context of digitised work.
