The Danish presidency will be about uniting states, finding compromises and mediating between the EU-27. The Presidency should set the issues, but it should not put its political convictions into them. But Denmark is one of the old member states and a country with strong soft power, good diplomatic skills and a well-developed Brussels apparatus.
