Peter Stepper, Senior Research Fellow, Head of Euroatlantic Program for Institute for Foreign Affairs and Trade wrote a policy paper titled "V4 in Brussels – A reality check of the international perspective on Visegrad cooperation".

Our Director Zdeněk Beránek has contributed to a piece by Robert Anderson for Intellinews. He tackles Zeman´s stand on the Visegrad Four partnership and his obstruction to shift the foreign policy of the Czech republic towards a focus on human rights.

We would like to invite you to a conference titled "30 Years of Visegrad: Role of the V4 countries in shaping the future of the EU". The debate will take place on Monday, 22nd of November 2021 starting from 4:30pm to 7:30pm. The event will take place in Brussels and will be live-streamed online.

Our research fellow Vít Havelka contributed to the publication "MINILATERAL COOPERATION IN THE EU: Internal Cohesion, Group Dynamics, and Voting Behaviour of Selected State Blocks", published by the Institute for Foreign Affairs and Trade. He is the author of a chapter on the Visegrad Group.

Michal Hrubý, a Researcher at EUROPEUM Institute for European Policy, wrote under the Think Visegrad in Brussels project his policy paper "Potential for CCS in V4 – will we seize the momentum?".

In his policy paper "New START Treaty – State, future and implications for the EU and V4", written in cooperation with the Think Visegrad think tank, Juraj Sýkora, a Junior Researcher at SFPA, analyses the current state of nuclear arms control, the New START Treaty, what it contains and who it concerns. The policy paper also analyses the prospects until 2026, when the extension of the Treaty expires.

In her policy paper "Terrorism, Cryptocurrencies and the EU Response", written under the project Think Visegrad in Brussels, Asya Metodieva, a research fellow at the Institute of International Relations Prague, writes about what terrorists use cryptocurrencies for, assesses ongoing regulatory initiatives at the EU level, and last but not least, examines how the Visegrad Four (V4) countries view cryptocurrencies in relation to terrorism-related threats at the level of national level.

We invite you to the EU± debate, this time on whether the V4 is the most important ally of the Czech Republic. The debate is organised with the support of the Jean Monnet Chair TeDEUSS - Teaching and debating EU small states' security at FSV UK and co-funded by the European Union's Europe for Citizens programme.

The head of our Brussels office, Žiga Faktor, commented for Aktuálně.cz on the future attitude of the newly formed coalition towards the Visegrad Four.

In Hospodářské noviny's podcast Morning Briefing by Ondřej Houska, our researcher Vít Havelka commented on who is the Czech Republic's key partner and assessed the functionality of the Visegrad Four.

Our research fellow Danielle Piatkiewicz participated in a report by V4 Senior Defense Experts. The paper is written by sixteen senior defence experts and it is a summary of a broader project entitled: “Returning to the roots of the Visegrad cooperation – coordinating V4 strategy towards NATO Strategic Concept and European defense autonomy” that is supported by the International Visegrad Fund.

Our research associate Lenka Farkačová contributed with her article, which focuses on which Visegrad Group country has the most favorable tax environment for business entities, to the professional journal FÓRUM sociální politiky. .
