Danielle Piatkiewicz

Associate Research Fellow

Danielle Piatkiewicz is a research fellow at EUROPEUM focusing on issues around Transatlantic and Central and Eastern European foreign and security relations, democracy promotion and NATO. She is Executive Director of POLITICO Europe’s Live team. Previously, she founded DEP Consulting and served as an independent consultant to the Alliance of Democracies Foundation, an organization founded by the former NATO SecGen, Anders Fogh Rasmussen. Earlier, she coordinated GMF’s Asia and Future of Geopolitics programs in Washington, DC, leading initiatives such as the Young Professionals Summit at Brussels Forum, and held roles in GMF’s Wider Atlantic program in Brussels and in Warsaw. She also worked at the European Institute of Peace in Brussels. She holds an M.A. in International and Political Studies (Transatlantic Studies) from Jagiellonian University, Poland, and a B.A. in Political Science (International Relations) with a minor in German Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
