We would like to invite you to another debate from the EU format ± on the topic of the Conference on the Future of Europe. The debate is organized with the support of Jean Monnet Chair TeDEUSS - Teaching and debating EU small states' security at FSV UK and co-financed by the European Union's Europe for Citizens program. On December 15, the very last debate of 2020 from the series EU± took place. The debate was organized by the EUROPEUM Institute for European Policy and the Department of European Studies of FSV UK. The topic of „Portuguese and Czech Presidency of the EU Council” was discussed by Ambassador of Portugal to the Czech Republic Luís de Almeida Sampaio, our Associate Research Fellow Zuzana Stuchlíková and former Permanent Representative to the EU Milena Vicenová. The debate took place in English and was charied by Tomáš Weiss, researcher, and head of the Department of European Studies FSV UK.

An online panel discussion on EU-Africa relations from the perspective of the Visegrad countries in the context of the coronavirus pandemic took place on Tuesday 26th May 2020. The event was organized by the Think Visegrad platform consisting of think tanks from Central Europe. The debate was broadcasted live on the Facebook page of the Institute for European Policy EUROPEUM.

The panel discussion titled “EU enlargement during the Coronavirus crisis” was organised by the Think Visegrad in Brussels platform and took place on Thursday, April 23rd 2020. Due to the special circumstances related to the Coronavirus pandemic, the debate was held on the online platform Zoom and broadcasted on the Facebook page of EUROPEUM Institute for European Policy. The panellists focused on the implications of the COVID-19 health crisis on the EU enlargement policy in Western Balkans.

On Saturday, September 7, we organised a workshop "Overcoming Dividing Lines in Europe" at Jubel - European Democracy Festival. There we discussed what divides Europe and Europeans.
