The situation regarding the Polish presidential elections was commented on for ČRo Plus by Viktor Daněk, Deputy Director of the EUROPEUM Institute.

Karol Nawrocki is the incoming president affiliated with Law and Justice (PiS), just like the current one, so there will be no dramatic shift in direction. Nawrocki is a pro-Western politician who leans more toward the United States than the European Union, but the fundamental axioms of Polish foreign policy, as we have known them so far, will not change even after he takes office.
