E15: The end of EU generosity?

Our Vladimír Bartovic gave his opinion to E15 on the topic of possibilities of future European funds distribution.

Money from the European Union could, in the next decade, start being distributed according to new criteria – one that would suit more Spain and Italy, for example. With the new budget, the V4 countries could lose tens of millions which would go to South-european countries, which were affected most by the financial crisis.

We could be dealing with a partial punishment for countries of central and western Europe, on the other hand, there have been discussions for a long time, about the fact that cohesive policy should not be allocated according to GDP.
