Our research fellow Vít Havelka together with Torval Tangeland, Petr Soukup, Nikola Hořejš, and Pål Strandbakken wrote a Policy Paper as a part of the project Green Transformation: Sustainable Consumption and European Single Market policies supported by the Norway Grants in the Czech Republic. In this paper, he compares and identifies knowledge gaps between Czech and Norwegian consumers. He gives an overview of the present situation in both countries, including possible research gaps and describes the unique national contexts and experiences.

In his policy paper "New START Treaty – State, future and implications for the EU and V4", written in cooperation with the Think Visegrad think tank, Juraj Sýkora, a Junior Researcher at SFPA, analyses the current state of nuclear arms control, the New START Treaty, what it contains and who it concerns. The policy paper also analyses the prospects until 2026, when the extension of the Treaty expires.

Policy Paper: Terrorism, Cryptocurrencies and the EU Response

In her policy paper "Terrorism, Cryptocurrencies and the EU Response", written under the project Think Visegrad in Brussels, Asya Metodieva, a research fellow at the Institute of International Relations Prague, writes about what terrorists use cryptocurrencies for, assesses ongoing regulatory initiatives at the EU level, and last but not least, examines how the Visegrad Four (V4) countries view cryptocurrencies in relation to terrorism-related threats at the level of national level.

Our research fellow Danielle Piatkiewicz participated in a report by V4 Senior Defense Experts. The paper is written by sixteen senior defence experts and it is a summary of a broader project entitled: “Returning to the roots of the Visegrad cooperation – coordinating V4 strategy towards NATO Strategic Concept and European defense autonomy” that is supported by the International Visegrad Fund.
