RECOMMENDATION: National Convention on the EU: Sustainable mobility in the context of the "Fit for 55" package

The latest National Convention on the EU took place on the 15th of October 2021. Here is a summary of the basic points discussed at the Convention. The recommendation was prepared by Michal Hrubý.

The main topics of the discussion were:

  1. The issue of shifting the end dates of sales of vehicles with non-zero emissions
  2. Revision of the target setting methodology for passenger and freight charging / filling infrastructure
  3. Strategic communication of pure mobility and creation of a unified concept for it
  4. Technological neutrality
  5. Use of available EU financial frameworks for the replacement of the public transport fleet
