Debate | Will Canada Become the 28th Member State of the EU?
Following the breakdown of trade negotiations between Canada and the U.S., Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney addressed members of the European Parliament. In her annual State of the European Union address, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen mentioned the possibility of Canada becoming an associate member of the EU.
