Public Debate | Just Transition in the Karlovy Vary Region

The Just Transition Fund will provide CZK 42 billion to three Czech regions. The debate will explore its successes and key challenges in accessing EU funds.

The Just Transition Fund (JTF) was established for the 2021–2027 programming period to support regions facing challenges related to the transition. By 2029, a total of CZK 42 billion will be allocated to the Ústí nad Labem, Karlovy Vary and Moravian-Silesian regions.

The public debate will present the key achievements of the JTF, including successful strategic projects. It will also focus on challenges related to accessing JTF funding and other cohesion policy funds, such as insufficient administrative capacity at the regional level and the unpredictability of cohesion policy.
