Our researcher Michal Hrubý was a guest on the Energy Without Emissions podcast. He answers questions on issues such as current energy prices and their possible future development, what impact climate change will have on industry, what is the state's strategy or how the state is approaching the situation.

Our Senior Research Fellow Jana Juzová has prepared a summary and recommendations based on the roundtable discussion of the National Convention on the EU held on 26 October 2022 on the topic "Ukraine's Integration into the EU". The Convention produced three recommendations based on the answers to the following questions: How can the EU and the Czech Republic support Ukraine in the post-war reconstruction and reforms necessary for EU integration? What tools does the EU have at its disposal for the deeper economic and political integration of Ukraine? Is the EU ready to fully integrate Ukraine and other candidate countries?

Our research fellow Danielle Piatkiewicz has written a policy paper on "Evaluating Transatlantic Relations in Times of Conflict", in which she discusses issues such as transatlantic security, the new European security architecture, and NATO's renewed purpose. She concludes with further steps on how the transatlantic community can work together in times of conflict.

The roundtable is presented with three main questions: how can the EU and the Czech Republic support Ukraine in its post-war reconstruction and reforms necessary for EU integration? What tools does the EU have at its disposal for deeper economic and political integration of Ukraine? Is the EU ready to fully integrate Ukraine and other candidate countries? Can it use the experience of previous enlargement rounds for this purpose?

Our research fellow Michal Hrubý appeared on CNN Prima NEWS on the topic of EU cost saving measures. The EU proposes, for example, joint gas purchases or avoiding extreme price fluctuations.

In the framework of the conference Think Tank Forum: EU enlargement, an article on the views of member and candidate states on EU enlargement was written in cooperation with EURACTIV.cz.

On the occasion of the Think Tank Forum: EU enlargement conference, an interview with the Macedonian diplomat, politician and foreign policy expert Nikola Dimitrov was conducted. Dimitrov answers questions on issues such as the impact of the Russian invasion on the EU enlargement process and the importance of the Czech Presidency for the Balkan countries.
