Pilot Academy: Czechia in 2050

When and where can you join us? Olomouc | 20–22 November 2026
Participants can look forward to intensive work in small teams, practical workshops, individual consultations, an argumentation arena, a public debate, creative activities, and plenty of opportunities for networking. The pilot edition of the Academy will feature experienced figures from top-level business, academia, strategic decision-making and communication, as well as professionals in digital content creation.
Who are we looking for?
Young people aged 18–29 who are eager to think about Czechia’s future in Europe, discuss it, and actively get involved. During the selection process, we will be particularly interested in your motivation, personal perspective, and willingness to actively contribute to collaborative work. Previous experience is not a requirement for participation.
You will explore key societal dilemmas, formulate your own long-term vision for Czechia, learn how to defend it convincingly, and ultimately translate it into communication that can engage an audience. You will leave with your own substantive and communication outputs, feedback from experienced professionals and a certificate. And it does not have to end there. We will continue working with selected outputs and Academy graduates.
The workshop part of the Academy will take place directly in the Mayor’s Meeting Room. We would like to sincerely thank the Olomouc City Hall for its exceptional support and cooperation.
Participation is free of charge. We will also cover accommodation and meals throughout the programme for confirmed participants. However, capacity for the pilot edition is strictly limited. Given the limited number of places, we recommend submitting your application as soon as possible.
The Academy is held as part of the long-term Czechia in 2050 project. The project is co-funded by the European Union through the Jan Amos Komenský Operational Programme of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic.
