Der Standard: Refugee crisis: cooperation in the shadow of populism

Christian Kvorning Lassen from the Prague EUROPEUM institute highlights the differing positions of Visegrad Four countries (Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Poland): While at a recent V4 summit in Prague, the Czech social democratic prime minister Bohuslav Sobotka warned against the rise of nationalism and right-wing populism, his colleagues from the other countries were mostly complaining about the strong "interference of Brussels" in their national migration policies.

Our research fellow Christian Kvorning Lassen was cited in an article by Austrian newspaper Der Standard, where he spoke about the refugee crisis and (non)cooperation of the Visegrad Four countries in trying to find a solution.
