STVR | EU budget proposal
The European Commission has proposed a new budget to ensure a more efficient use of EU funds. Filip Křenek, an analyst at the EUROPEUM Institute for European Policy, commented on the situation for STVR.

There has been quite strong criticism in the past that there is overlap and duplication between some programmes and funds. Compared to the budgets of the Member States, the European budget is not particularly large. The newly presented financial framework therefore emphasises the most efficient use of available resources.
