What Kind of Czechia Do We Want in 2050?

Join us for a discussion about what Czechia could look like in 2050!
1. November 2026

What values and priorities should shape our society? What would we like to preserve, what should we change, and how do different generations envision the future? Join us for a discussion about what Czechia could look like in 2050! As part of the Czechia in 2050 project, we are organising a public debate in Písek together with YPALA, where we will explore different perspectives on Czechia's future.

Join the discussion with:

  • Jiří Dušek – Rector of the College of European and Regional Studies
  • Šárka Faicová – Sociologist, Behavio
  • Zdeněk Šerý – Co-founder of the YPALA project

When? Sunday, 1 November 2026 | 15:00–16:30

*The project is co-funded by the European Union through the Jan Amos Komenský Operational Programme of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic.

*The regional debate is organised as part of the Czechia in 2050 project, implemented by the EUROPEUM Institute for European Policy.
